Location Based Multimedia System Deployed
Connexionz has completed the deployment of a location based multimedia system onboard the local and commuter Los Angeles fleet on behalf of the City of Santa Clarita. The fleet-wide system enables video, image and web based content to be displayed onboard the city’s fleet, with a real-time location map providing passengers with their buses progress along its route, combined with next stop audio visual announcements.
The $817k multimedia project operates alongside Connexionz integrated Real Time Passenger Information (RTPI) and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) solution which includes passenger WiFi, passenger counters, integrated ticket machine, TAP card payment system, schedule management and city-wide electronic real-time service LED, LCD and BusFinder displays.
