Solar powered BusFinders for California

BF2 shrunk webThe public of California are to be the first in the world to benefit from the new solar powered BusFinderTM electronic displays. The first 80 solar powered displays are currently being installed in the City of Pasadena, Los Angeles, with additional transit agencies throughout California taking delivery over the coming weeks.

Developed and manufactured by Connexionz, the solar powered BusFinder is the latest generation of the highly successful, battery powered, first generation BusFinder display initially deployed in the late 1990s.

An ideal solution for scheduled transport systems, including bus, train and ferry services, the BusFinder is capable of delivering Estimated Time of Arrivals, service information, alerts, as well as provide a potential source of advertising revenue for display owners.

With no need to run mains power or communications cables, the BusFinder  is a cost effective solution for delivering real time and static information to the public.
